As 2018 comes to a close, we feel like it’s time to reflect on what has been an eventful year at ColourFence. From winning an award to being featured on television, there’s no doubt that 2018 has been a monumental year, and we’re very thankful for everyone who’s played a part in making it happen (including you – our wonderful customers!).
This year we were nominated for three awards; Best Franchisee Marketing Support, Best Print Advert, and Best Website at the Franchise Marketing Awards, and we were thrilled to walk away with the Best Website award on the night! Earlier in the year we put a lot of time and effort into improving our website, so to have won the Best Website category is extremely rewarding and we aim to keep improving upon our website to make your experience with us that much easier.
In August, we were featured on ITV’s Love Your Garden with Alan Titchmarsh. The star of the show was our cream ColourFence (our UK manufactured metal garden fence) which was used to help completely transform Irene’s garden. It was an honour to help make her dream a reality and give her a garden where she could relax and have a moment to herself. This was made possible by our Cardiff, Gloucester & Oxford team who all donated their time & resources to fit the fence for Irene.
No matter the time of year, it must be hard being out on the streets and especially during Winter. The days are darker, and there’s so much focus on festivities – making those who don’t have a family, feel even more lonely. That’s why we decided to raise some money for a local charity; The Wallich, whose goal is to do something to combat homelessness in Wales. We managed to raise £288 in total from our head office staff and franchisee partners! With this, The Wallich will be able to buy essentials for those who are less fortunate than us.
Our national ColourFence Facebook page reached a whopping 2000 ‘likes’! This may not be a big achievement to other larger-scale companies, but to us, this means a lot. We love engaging with our customers, showcasing our garden fence installations and discussing environmental issues on our Facebook page. We would like to thank you for visiting our page and for supporting us as we grow.
We would like to thank you all once again, we can see 2019 being an even brighter year for our ColourFence network with lots of things in the pipeline. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
