“On contacting Colour Fence for a quotation, Mr Clemson arranged to visit; survey our site and prepare quotations for different options. This was done promptly, thoroughly and thoughtfully, taking our requirements into account and discussing solutions where needed. On booking the work, we received dates to fit in with our plans, and the installation was made to a high standard, within the two-day maximum time quoted. All waste was removed, and the site left clean and tidy. The resulting boundary fencing has enhanced our rear garden, with the additional advantages of low maintenance and 25 year warranty on materials. The entire service was provided courteously, enthusiastically and honestly, and an easy working relationship existed throughout. Based on our experience, we would have no hesitation in recommending this company”

Jayne Howlett - Aug 2015.
Having lived with our newish Colourfence for a few months we thought a few observations on how well it has integrated would be better than comments totally about installation.
Installation: I still had to comment on installation! it was very good, with minimal damage to our flower beds. We chose quite a high fence with the solid part close to 6ft and with a 1.ft trellis. This was on the assumption that the trellis would be as see through as a normal wooden trellis. The assumption was incorrect, the trellis is quite substantial in its own right and is only marginally see through, so for the benefit of your future customers ,specify the solid section at 5ft then add the trellis. Remember this is not a criticism and certainly not of Ian Clemson.
Normally when a fence is installed it is customary to arrange it such that the ‘nice’ part is orientated to your neighbour’s side. With the Colourfence both sides are equally nice so no need to make any potentially awkward decisions on orientation, just be sure to tell your neighbour what you are buying as the fence displays a substantial facade.
In the recent high winds our other wooden fences were shaking back and forth with considerable flex, the Colourfence showed no sign of distress what so ever.
One last thing, our original wooden fence was a perch for large wood pigeons, they don’t seem to like the smooth finish of the Colourfence, which is a real bonus.
